Hey, so I added some "how-to-optain-icon-xy" information yesterday and since the newest edit of the Icon Kit page was done by you, I assume you undid my changes. I'd like to know what the reason for that was. What did I do wrong?
Hey. Editing with the rich-text editor, even just having it initially enabled, will automatically cause changes to the syntax when it is sometimes quite extensive. This tends to affect things like table indents, break tags and line breaks among others. Your edits were excellent, only being reverted temporarily because of what I’ve described, but I’ll implement your edits while making sure the page doesn’t go funny again. On your end, you can delve into your preferences and ensure that the source mode editor is enabled by default, which should keep things running smoothly and give you more control of your edits as well. Anyway, thanks for helping! Apologies if things were a bit unclear before.
Are you kidding me?! Fools didn’t even email out a warning notice that they were tanking their service and 100+ of my videos with it. A bloody disgrace, though I’m surprised absolutely no one here made mention of this either until now.
One time I remember you asking me to change my profile picture due to it being "suggestive". I was wondering if it applies to the one I currently have as well.
There has been an internet trend regarding the Super Crown, in which makes male characters turn info their female humanoid selves upon wearing said crown. I have not been thoroughly fond of the internet trend, but I have taken a liking to Booette, who is within said trend and is also based off my Profile pic.
The only issue is that I am wondering if this PFP would be deemed suitable for use here. Just making sure.
I know and I really acknowledge that you are trying to contribute. And to speak on the wiki's behalf, I am super grateful. However, some components of wikis should be subject to only staff changes, as they have their reasons for displaying everything in the manner they do. It is also often a complicated process to make such changes, as if, for example, this particular template's font size is altered, the same would have to apply for all the other templates on this wiki for the sake of consistency.
If, however, you still feel that a change somewhere is necessary, always message one of the wiki's administrators and wait for their consent before going ahead with the edit.
Is it bad that I am an admin (over at the GD Fan Wikis) and have the ability to ban vandals yet I don't have the heart (for some strange reason that I can't quite explain) to actually ban them when that time comes around? :/
P.S: How much longer do you predict we'll have to wait for Update 2.2? I am hoping it will come out by the end of this year (2018).
You shouldn’t want to block people. Being able to is a tool, not a fun website toy, to address vandals who go further than to just jumble a few articles because they’re bored one time but actively target the wiki(s) because they enjoy being a nuisance and perceiving themselves to have self-satisfying control. I mean, you can operate blocks how it suits you and the situation, but I do believe it’s easier for others to respect admins who aren’t trigger-happy.
Update 2.2… whenever Topala can be bothered. I doubt he has a schedule and will work on it when he feels like it. You can tell SubZero was a burst of inspiration. Will Update 2.2 ever follow? One day, maybe…
I assume that you already know who I am, so I will cut to the chase.
I have looked back on my past messages and involvement in this wiki, and I honestly find it difficult to force myself to see. I was bothersome and immature, so I would like to deeply apologize to you for those times. I should not have interfered with matters on a fully-functional wiki in the manner in which I did.
On a separate note, I hope that the wiki has been doing well, with the content and the community. I personally admire you for having worked hard with the wiki to this point despite the fact that many other users, namely staff members, left. This dedication and care makes me believe that you are a great wiki bureaucrat, perhaps one of the best I have ever known.
Sorry, and thank you very much for everything. I wish you luck with your future life, both on Wikia and in real life.
Cheers Wolflord. I appreciate your kind words. As a matter of fact, I never at any point considered you bothersome or immature. We all face hard times and make poor decisions, but you have been among those that I’ve been particularly grateful to have had participating on the wiki. Thanks man. I too wish you very good fortune on your future endeavours.
Thank you so much, I'm very grateful that you feel that way, as well as for understanding. To be honest, I'm also somewhat surprised at your response, as you mentioned being particularly grateful.
Not that I may be of much aid or even activity, though if there ever happens to be a reason for you to want to contact me for help, please feel more than welcome to do so. I would be more than glad to return some of the help that has been given to me by you and the wiki.
